The articles about Mississauga luminaries are drawn from Ms. Hicks' column "A V.I.P. and Me" in the Mississauga News between 1972 and 1974. Some of her subjects: Tommy Hunter, Robert Speck, Al Cherny, Paul Henderson, Karen Kain, Angelo Mosca, J. Tuzo Wison and Colonel Sanders. All lived in Mississauga and all fascinated Ms. Hicks, a seasoned journalist and skillful interviewer.
